About us.

The mission of Ms. Wheelchair Alabama America, Inc. is to provide an opportunity for women of achievement who utilize wheelchairs to successfully educate and advocate for individuals with
disabilities. Unlike traditional beauty pageants, Ms. Wheelchair Alabama America is not a contest to select the most attractive individual. It is instead a competition based on advocacy, achievement, communication and presentation to select accomplished and articulate spokeswomen for persons with disabilities. The selected representatives must be able to communicate both the needs and the accomplishments of all people with disabilities to the general public, the business community and the legislature.
